Public Art
Whether through performance, drawing, installation, or painting, my imagination belongs to the world of play and is imbued with a certain nostalgia for childhood. I often work with recycled materials such as car hoods, toys, trinkets, furniture, and broken glass. In my gallery practice, I am particularly interested in the myth of eternal youth and the control of the masses. My most recent works consist of monumental wall installations where illuminated manuscripts are recomposed into modules, offering reinterpretations of literary works such as Animal Farm by Orwell, Gaspard, Melchior & Balthazar by Tournier, or The Selfish Gene by Dawkins.
I have developed an interest in the meaningful and plastic properties of materials such as plaster, metal cladding, illumination, and wood. I explore the potential of traditional techniques linked to sacred arts alongside commercial and industrial methods. My interest in integrating art into architecture aligns with my desire to engage directly with the viewer in public spaces, imagining infinite possibilities for dialogue between architecture, the body, and the art object. -
