Since 2003, I have pursued a bestiary titled Le règne animal, cataloging clothing company logos. These brand images, featuring animals, are recreated using pubic hair taken from the epidermis and glued to paper with their own sebum acting as natural adhesive. In this project on branding, I draw a connection between hair removal and identity, attempting to deconstruct the codes of a body representation system conditioned by the image, fashion, and sex industries.
